Puertas Padilla wins EXCON Lima’s Best Stand award for the second consecutive year
The company has received the award in the Design and Finishes Hall category at the Peruvian trade fair, reinforcing its position in a market that plays a key role in its international expansion.
Puertas Padilla returns from Lima with another industry recognition. The Cartagena-based company has won EXCON’s Best Stand award for the second consecutive year, this time in the Design and Finishes Hall category.
Held from 14 to 17 October at the Centro de Exposiciones Jockey in the Peruvian capital, the trade fair provided the setting for the manufacturer to showcase its fire-rated, technical and high-security doors under the Padilla Fire Doors brand.
“We are experience”, “We are security” and “We are design” were the key messages behind Padilla’s exhibition concept this year. The award-winning stand reflected an identity that combines the company’s industrial expertise with a strong focus on design and product presentation.
This latest award follows the recognition received at the previous edition, when Padilla was also honoured for the best stand design. Winning the award for a second consecutive year reinforces the company’s presence at EXCON and supports its objective of expanding its position in Peru while strengthening relationships with professionals from the construction sector.
South America, a key market for international growth
Padilla’s participation in EXCON forms part of a commercial strategy in which international markets account for the majority of its business. Eighty-five per cent of Puertas Padilla’s production is exported, and its products are approved in more than 60 countries.
The Cartagena-based company also has its own structure in South America through Padilla Colombia, headquartered in Medellín. Its track record in Latin America includes supplying doors for the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Panama Canal and the Cordillera and Sótero del Río hospitals in Chile. These projects provide a strong foundation for the company’s continued expansion across the region.
Founded in Cartagena in 1987, Puertas Padilla is approaching four decades of activity, with nine operating locations and more than 500 professionals across the Padilla Group. Its second consecutive award in Lima further strengthens the international track record of a company that remains firmly rooted in Cartagena’s industrial sector.
