PUERTAS PADILLA sponsor in the Donosti Cup

On July 3, the 30th edition of the Donosti Cup will start in San Sebastian. For one week and until Saturday, July 9, soccer teams from different parts of the world will be able to make their dream of participating in this tournament, which this year celebrates its 30th Anniversary, come true.

This year there are 100 women’s soccer teams divided into 7 groups, and 524 men’s teams divided into 14 groups.

The objective of this tournament is to help improve the lives of people in vulnerable situations by supporting projects that use soccer as an engine for change. Thus, the Donosti Cup Foundation finances the participation of underprivileged soccer teams so that they can compete in this tournament.

Boys and girls from vulnerable regions or cities affected by conflict or natural disasters have participated in this event over the years. Teams from Sierra Leone, Zambia, Iraq, El Salvador, Colombia or Mozambique to more than 50 teams without resources.

In short, gender equality, solidarity, sportsmanship, inclusion or respect for the environment are the values promoted by this meeting of youth from different parts of the world, and this year, from Puertas Padilla we are pleased to announce that we are sponsors of 3 of the teams of the Torre Pacheco Soccer School that will attend this great tournament.
